Habitat for Humanity
Our local American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) chapter and our member, Frank Nieves, took on the challenge of volunteering for a St. Pete Habitat for Humanity project. While building a home for a family in need, they also helped the volunteers learn about the estimating process.
Painters on Demand was pleased to join the ASPE chapter and Frank in volunteering for this Habitat for Humanity project so that this family could have a beautiful new home.
Painters on Demand is proud to announce a community partnership with Tampa's non-profit organization The Centre. The Centre provides much needed services for local women in need and their beautiful building needs some paint-enance! It is such a joy to help those who help others. This project will take up to a year to complete in various phases.
St. Lawrence Catholic School
Painters on Demand volunteered along with Skanska USA's Tampa office on the construction of St. Lawrence Catholic School's new concession stand. POD gladly donated the labor and equipment needed to paint the entire structure. POD also applied a special floor coating.
Tampa Bay Lightning Sponsorship
Our company was happy to act as sponsor for new client The Tampa Bay Lightning & St Pete Times Forum during their 2009-10 season. Painters on Demand was presenter for the Channelside Club and also appeared on the plaza where we offered free fan face-painting at our POD booth. We had great time as always and look forward to an active future with the organization. Special thanks to Lightning Corporate Partnership Manager Brandi Hughes Anderson for all her help and hospitality.
As our company's tribute to the art of painting, Painters on Demand completed a Paint Sponsorship for the Dalí Museum's Summer 2009 Exhibitions. Our painters painted portions of the galleries for incoming exhibitions including Dalí, Freud and Surrealism and Una noche sin fin (An Endless Night)—a new video installation by Spanish artist Mabel Palacín. Painters on Demand also repainted the museum's Raymond James Community Room where we held our first annual Mad Mustache Masquerade for our V3 family and friends.
Metropolitan Ministries Sanctuary Project
Painters on Demand has donated our painting services in cooperation with Skanska, NAIOP, and Lennar Homes to assist families in need on their way back to self-dependency.
Donation to USF Athletics
Painters on Demand has donated our painting services to improve the batting cages for The University of South Florida, Tampa campus.
